Scattered Sites

Description

The Wilmington Housing Authority manages over 300 "Scattered Site" units throughout the City. Most of these units are single-family residences, which provide a variety of housing choices in almost every neighborhood in the City for low-income residents. WHA has invested heavily in these properties, bringing more than 100 vacant units back on line, upgrading occupied units with new porches, roofs, windows doors, kitchens, bathrooms and appliance replacements. Together with our partners, especially the City of Wilmington's Department of Real Estate and Housing, more than 40 formerly vacant WHA properties have been converted to homeownership opportunities.
